“Peace Begins Within” 16x20 Canvas Wrapped Fine Art Print 

🌈🌿✨✌️My latest private commission painting, “Peace Begins Within”. I have been wanting to create work that speaks about elevation, spirit, humanity, personal responsibility. Bobby @rhessiii came to me close to a year ago and asked me to create something for his new home, little did he know that travel and life and all of the things that come with it would change so much for him in the coming months. I told him creating a work for him reminded me of this lyric from The National “It’s hard to keep track of you falling through the sky” from their song “Fake Empire”. “We’re half awake, in a fake empire”. So much tension and derision in our world, I wanted a painting as a reminder. Peace begins within. There is no peace that another can give you. Peace can be found in prison, in illness, in pain. We have to find the peace that only a higher power provides. Big energy. #peace ✌️
